Ξενόκριτος εἶπε· ΠρωτόμαχονἘπινίκου Κιανὸν πρόξενονἦμεν τᾶς πόλιος τᾶς Κώιων κα[ὶ]ἐκγόνος, ἦμεν δ᾿ αὐτοῖς ἔσπλουνκαὶ ἔκπλουν καὶ ἐμ πολέμωι καὶἐν εἰράναι ἀσυλεὶ καὶ ἀσπονδεὶκαὶ αὐτοῖς καὶ χρήμασι. ἔδοξετᾶι βουλᾶι καὶ τᾶι ἐκκλησίαι, γνώ–μα προστατᾶν· χ[ρ]ῆσθαι τᾶι vacatΞε[νοκρίτου] ἐφ[ό]δω[ι].

Beschlussvon Rat und Volksversammlung, nach Vorlageder Vorsteher: dass man denVortrag des Xenokritos übernehme.
Xenokritos proposed: Protomachosson of Epinikos, from Kios, is to be a proxenosof the city of the Coans, andhis descendants; they are to have free importand export in both war andpeace exempt from seizure and without treaty,for both themselves and their goods. It was decreedby the council and assembly, proposalof the prostatai: to use theformula of Xenokritos.
